Now that the
New York Emperors Stickball League's season has come to and end, it's time for the NYESL to focus on the next prize in the Stickball
Bragging Rights line up...the infamous
Labor Day Tournament. A lot is at stake as the battle tested players of the NYESL march towards the south eastern coast of the United States to battle with some of the best Stickball competition in the world. The last 5-7 weeks of the NYESL 2009 season featured triple headers and now we head towards Miami to show Bobby and the rest of the Florida family how we do it here in
New York! We'll also get to compete against some of the teams from
San Diego and
Puerto Rico, so the competition in the southern coast should be competitive as ever.
The tournament will take place in
North Miami (see address below) and so far 15 of the best teams in Stickball with compete for the #1 spot and the Labor Day Bragging Rights! Get ready Miami...cause here comes the real Hurricanes!
