Game of the Week
Ravens 0 Vs Saints 6 – This highly anticipated matchup started off with a bang. With the Ravens threatening in the first inning, Eddie Brunson came up with runners on first and second and hit a shot to into the trees hanging over field one. Unfortunately the ball landed right in the hands of the Saints outfield and led to a rare triple play. The Ravens never really made another threat. The Saints were led by Pete Jr. and Josh, who led the way with two RBI’s a piece. Eddie Brunson led the Ravens with two hits.
Ravens 2 Vs D’Backs 0 – A few weeks ago the D’Backs got the best of the Ravens with a convincing win. This week the Ravens had different ideas. This game was all defense up until the 7th inning when the Ravens were able to break the scoreless tie with Al Juniors clutch two out single driving in two runs. The D’Backs were unable to respond in bottom of the seventh. Chungo had three hits for the Ravens while Mike and Mark had 2 hits each for the D’Backs.

Stem 7 Vs Saints 8 – This was a wild one folks. Josh had two hits and three runs batted in after two innings for the Saints. But the Stem fought back and were able to take a 7-6 lead in the sixth when Anthony struck for a two run double to tie the game, and then taking the lead with DeeJays RBI single. Most teams would fold after losing a six run lead, but the Saints are having one of those seasons where they seem to get the breaks the need. Mick came up in the bottom of the seventh an hit a HR to tie the game, and then the very next hitter, Pete Jr., put the exclamation point on the game with a walk off HR to win the game. D- Lush and Brandon had two RBIs a piece for the Stem.

The Bandits answered right back in the third with 2 runs of their own with RBI’s from Pito and Jae. But Kevin and Ruben of the Royals let the Bandits know it was going to take more than that as they both hit HR’s in third to put the Royals ahead for good. Kevin had a 4-hit, 3 RBI effort for the Royals. Eric added 3 hits and Adam hit a HR for the Royals as well. Andy led the Bandit with three hits, with Pito and Pena adding two hits each.
Stem 1 Vs Leland 2 – Both teams came into this game short-handed and it showed as both offenses struggled in this one. Eddie F drove in the first run of the game in the fifth inning and it looked like it would be all they needed to win. But Stem rallied in the seventh to tie the game. Ashley Nazario got the rally started and scored when David Jr. hit a clutch two out RBI double to tie the game. But this was not the Stem’s day as they lost for the second time via the walk-off when Dave drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. Izzy added three hits for the Legends, and Austin led the Stem with 2 hits.
D’Backs 7 Vs Royals 7 – The D’Backs were out to prove that their win a few weeks ago against the Royals was not a fluke. The D’Backs jumped all over the Royals in the first with four runs, and extended to the lead to 6-0 in the third. But the Royals chipped away two runs in the bottom of the third and fourth. Lionel added some insurance with an RBI double in the seventh to extend the lead to 7-4. It turned out to be a huge run as the Royals tied the game at 7 in the bottom of the seventh with RBIs from Kevin, Ruben and Petey. The Royals had the winning run on second base with one out but were unable to bring the run in. Kevin added to his big day with 4 hits and 2 RBI. Ruben added 3 hits and 2 RBI and Adam hit a 2-run HR for the Royals. John Blaze led the way for the D’Backs with 3 hits and 3 RBI. Tutu, Mark and Shenk each had two hits for the D’Backs.
Gold 10 Vs Emperors 2 – The Gold continued their dominant ways in this blowout of the Emperors. Dusty continued to add to his front running MVP numbers with 3 hits and 3 RBI, including a HR.
