Ravens 5 – Sugar Hill 7:
The Ravens put the pressure on early. After Dax and Ed reached base on singles. Mick drove in a run with a single of his own. In the next inning, the Ravens` offense came alive again. After Tim and Ty hit doubles, to get runners on second and third, Nick hit a 2 RBI single to make the score 3 – 0. Sugar Hill got those runs back in the bottom of the 3rd inning thanks to Will`s 2 RBI single and Eccy`s RBI single. The Ravens took the lead back in the top half of the 4th inning after Nick hit a RBI single. The Ravens added another run to their lead, in the next inning, after Mick and Artie reached on base safely and Danny`s RBI single. Once again Sugar Hill got those two runs back in the bottom half of the 4th inning. Cooks reached on a double and Eccy drove him in with an RBI single. Eric Jr. followed that up with an RBI double, making the score 5 -5. The next inning Sugar Hill put the game away. After Niko reached base on a single, Angel and Will hit back to back RBI doubles to give them a 7 – 5 lead over the Ravens.

Royals 4 – Emperors 1:
The Royals scored first after Frankie and Eric`s back to back singles and Kevin`s RBI single. The Emperors answered right back in the bottom half of the 1st inning with a run of their own. After Mike and Caban`s back to back singles, Rich (Forty) drove in a run with a fielder`s choice. The rest of the game was all Royals. In the top of the 4th inning, Kevin hit a double and Ruben drove him in with an RBI single. In the top of the 5th inning, the Royals struck again. Kevin started the inning with another double. Chris drove him in wtih an RBI double and Darnell drove Chris in with an RBI single, giving them a 4 – 1 lead. The Royals went on to hold on to this lead and win by the score of 4 – 1.

Gold 1 – Sugar Hill 1:
This was a defensive game. Sugar scored their only run in the bottom of the 2nd inning. After back to back singles by Cooks and Danny, T.J. hit an RBI single to give Sugar Hill the early 1 – 0 lead. The Gold`s offense was kept quiet but they did manage to tie the game in the top of the 4th inning, thanks to Watts` solo home-run. The defense for both sides kept this game to a 1 – 1 tie.
Gold: Watts (2-3, 1 Single, 1 Home-run, 1 RBI)
Sugar Hill: T.J. (1-3, 1 Single, 1 RBI)
Diamondbacks 4 – Ravens 2:
Dave started the game off with a single and Ant drove him in with an RBI double. The Ravens got that run back in the next inning. Artie hit a 2 out double and Tim drove him in with an RBI double of his own. In the next inning, Nick hit a solo home-run to give the Ravens a 2 – 1 lead. The Ravens kept the Diamondbacks quiet until the top of the 6th inning. Ant reached base on a single and Jay drove him in with an RBI double. With two outs, Lionel hit a 2 run home-run to give the Diamondbacks their first lead since the 1st inning. The Diamondbacks held on to this lead and walked away with a 4 – 1 victory.

Silver Bullets 8 – Saints 0:
This match-up featured two teams that have a decent mix of young and veteran stickballers. Unfortunately, that’s about the only thing these teams have that can be evenly compared. The Silver Bullets jumped out to a 5-0 lead after three innings. Five different players got an RBI for the Silver Bullets during the scoring frenzy. In the 5th inning, Jay put the game away with a 2 out, 2 run double for the Bullets. The Saints only had one extra base hit in this game, a double by Josh.

Saints 1 – Leland Legends 6:
Leland was able to bounce back from their win-less week 3, by securing a win against the win-less Jersey City Saints. Leland jumped out to an early 3 run lead in the bottom of the 1st inning, highlighted by Edwin’s 2 run triple. In the 3rd, RBIs by Warren and Angel added two more runs for Leland. The Saints avoided a shutout when Ralph drove in Jay for the Saints first run.

Leland Legends: Eddie F. (2-4, 1 Single, 1 Double, 1 RBI) Warren Sr. (2-2, 2 Singles, 1 RBI)
Leland Legends 8 – Diamondbacks 4:
Both teams came into this match-up separated by a few points in the standings. A win was eagerly sought by both teams and it showed. The Diamondbacks kicked off the scoring when Lionel and Lionel Jr drove in a run each in the bottom of the 4th to end the scoreless tie. Leland came back within 1 run when Fred drove in a run on an RBI single. The Diamondbacks threatened to jump out ahead in the bottom of the 5th with four consecutive hits, but were limited to just 1 run as Leland’s defense came through with a relay to cut down Dave at home plate. The momentum clearly carried over to the next inning for Leland as they scored 6 runs, highlighted by Freddy’s 3 run HR. All 6 runs came with 2 outs in the inning. The Diamondbacks threatened again in the bottom of the 7th when Anthony drove in a run, but they left two men on base to end the game.

Silver Bullets 1 – Royals 6:
The Royals continued their hot start to this 2017 season with a convincing victory as they defeated an inconsistent Silver Bullets team. The biggest difference in this game is the amount of extra base hits. The Royals had 6 extra base hits while the Silver Bullets had none. What’s more surprising is that both teams had 11 hits each. Dave drove in 2 runs for the Royals and went 2-3. Kevin also drove in 2 runs for the Royals and was 2-3 with two doubles. The Silver Bullets rallied in the 5th to stage a comeback but fell short. AJ singled in a run in that inning.
